RUN, IT’S FURBZILLA!!!
The Berry, HEYDUDE and Hasbro team up to launch new Furby shoes with nostalgic vibes and a HUGE Furby (‘Furbzilla’) in the streets of London!
This was an EPIC project to launch a line of unique, Furby-inspired shoes for the world.
The campaign, created and produced by The Berry, captured the 90s nostalgia of Furby, whilst also demonstrating the show-stopping style, expression and comfort of HEYDUDE… all through an awe-inspiring, animated film.
Directed by The Berry Boys.
The result: Millions of views, thousands+ of shoe sales, endless amounts of positive social media engagemen… al through an astonishing campaign promoting the ultimate Furby Friendship; making a statement for shoe and toy lovers alike!

Global footwear brand HEYDUDE (a Crocs Inc. brand) collaborated with beloved toy icon Furby for a nostalgic collection of playful footwear. Known for disrupting pop culture in the 90’s as a must-have toy, Furby’s iconic look inspired the colourful collection.

The post-production process consisted of texturing up various Furby 3D models to replicate the classic Furby designs, then rigging them and bringing them to life. After modeling, texturing and rigging, the Furbies could move, blink, shuffle across the floor and waggle their ears, all while looking completely real!
The CGI characters were then integrated into live action London plates filmed by The Berry’s production team, lit with the help of HDRI imagery taken on location. To really up the ante, CGI metropolitan police cars and helicopters were animated into the scene. The film was then edited together with playful sound design which included official Hasbro & Furby sound FX polished off with a subtle yet cinematic grade!
