Red Bull & Hansen Motorsports’ electrifying CGI livery launch.

The Berry launch Redbull and Hansen’s 2024 World Rallycross racing livery, with a CGI-powered, Blade Runner-inspired film.

The film showcases the Hansens' fully electric race car in action, alongside advanced space technology, cyberpunk city street racing and exhilarating donut thrills; delivering a high-octane visual experience.

“The new livery is mega!” - Kevin Hansen. “To be able to race in our red colour, just like my parents did in their prime, is fantastic. I think having our names on the two cars instead of different colours unites them even more and shows that we are one force in the chase for the world championship this year. The chrome bulls and stripes also add that aggressiveness, which we’re hoping to bring to the ‘Battle of Technologies’.”

To support the Hansen’s entering their next racing phase, The Berry are focusing on the development and creation of CGI-first filmmaking; ensuring sustainability, through creativity. 🌳

The Berry CGI team collaborated closely with the Hansen team to recreate their electric racecar in 3D software, meticulously attending to the livery design and details from live-action reference photography. The cyberpunk cityscape worlds were crafted by kit-bashing basic 3D model assets and transforming them with neon cyberpunk lighting, billboards, and photorealistic textures using Redshift.

A compact city center circuit was constructed and arranged for the main city racing scenes, featuring various corners, straights, and intersections for the Hansen car to navigate, showcasing a range of racing actions. Smoke simulations were developed for the burn-out moments, along with stunning matte painting backdrops.
