Audi is shining new light on its Vorsprung durch Technik brand philosophy with ‘Audi Design Love Stories’, a content campaign to support the launch of the SQ6 e-tron, the newest member of its fully-electric SUV range.

As a tight-knit team, The Berry and BBH dug deep (every day, for months!) to develop, animate and create: An Audi car full of Fish, an Owl embracing the latest musical tech through new headrest speakers… and a Moth’s love story with LED lighting.

All of the CGI animals were transformed into loveable, cinematic characters; each interacting with their unique Audi SQ6 e-tron 3D environments.

‘Audi Design Love Stories’, highlight the emotive elements of electric vehicle (EV) design - light, sound and vision - and the ways in which Audi’s ambitious tech innovations, help drivers fall in love with a new car.

The hero films tell stories that visualise dynamic features of the new Audi. The Berry’s three animated films (Moth, Aquarium and Owl) used a combination of Cinema4D (Redshift), Houdini and Maya. These creative softwares produced a smooth and innovative workflow, that allowed top-tier animation, at an extremely fast pace. The Berry’s 3D animation process guaranteed the visualisation and implementation of realistic animation, character personalities and excellence of new car tech.

These high quality, animated films ensured the features of the Audi SQ6 e-tron were easily understood and embedded into the narratives.
